What Calnio costs, who fixes it, and what if it stops

Straight answers to the three questions worth asking before you trust a small app with your calendar. I keep them here, in public, so you can hold me to them.

Free for one database, one way. $3.99 a month for two-way and all of them, the first 7 days free with no card. Nothing to install.

What it costs

Last updated October 24, 2026.

The two plans

Free: one Notion database, synced one way, every 30 minutes. Paid, $3.99 a month: two-way sync, every database, checked every 15 minutes or as often as every 5. Every new account gets the paid plan free for 7 days, counted from its first sync. No card.

A yearly plan is coming, and it will cost less per month than paying monthly.

Free forever

If you signed up before the paid plan launched on October 23, 2026, you keep everything Calnio does, free, for good. That is not a trial and there is no catch.

Why there is a paid plan

Calnio costs real money to run: the computer it runs on, the database, the domain and my time. The paid plan keeps it independent. No ads, no selling data, and no investor deciding when it shuts down or who buys it.

I am a solo developer, and earning money from something I built is what keeps me working on it.

Who fixes it

One person

Calnio is built and run by one person: me, Myroslav. When something breaks, you email me and I fix it.

How fast

I aim to reply within a day.

Your data

Where your things live

Your pages, events and tasks live in Notion, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Todoist, not in Calnio.

What Calnio keeps

Only what it needs to run your syncs: your connection tokens, and for each synced item its title, its dates and the ids that link it to the other side, so Calnio can tell which side you changed. The full list is in the privacy policy.

Disconnecting and deleting

Disconnect an account and its tokens are deleted. Delete your Calnio account and everything Calnio keeps about you goes with it.

Never sold

Your data is never sold, and it is used only to run your syncs and to reach you about them.

Everything Calnio stores, and how to delete it, is in the privacy policy.

If Calnio ever stops

The plan

I do not plan to shut Calnio down. The paid plan exists so it can keep running for years.

If that day came

You get at least 60 days notice by email before anything stops. Your pages, events and tasks stay where they always were, in Notion, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Todoist, and nothing is deleted. Syncing stops on the shutdown date, and everything already synced stays in place.

The rules for using Calnio are in the terms of use.

Your dates, where you already look.

Sign in, tick a database, and it shows up in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Todoist.
