Put your Notion study planner in your iPhone calendar
The iPhone's Calendar app cannot read Notion, so a study planner stays in Notion until something copies its dates across. Calnio copies each dated page into an iCloud calendar as an event, so exam dates and deadlines show up next to your timetable. The free plan covers one database, which is enough for a single planner.

Shape the planner
Use one database with a Name, a Date column and whatever else you track, such as Course and Status. Calnio copies the title and the date and nothing else, so put the course in the title, like "Physics: lab report", if you want to see it in the calendar.
A date without a time becomes an all-day event, which suits deadlines and exam days. A date with a time becomes an event at that time, an hour long unless you set an end time, which suits lectures and study blocks.
If you want exams and assignments in different colours, make them two databases, for example Exams and Assignments. Each gets its own calendar. That needs the paid plan, since the free plan syncs one database.
Connect it
Setup is four steps: sign in with Google, connect Notion, connect iCloud with an app-specific password, and tick the database. You need an Apple Account with two-factor authentication, since Apple only offers app-specific passwords with it. How to create an iCloud app-specific password has the screens, and the step-by-step guide covers the rest.
Calnio finds the date column, creates a calendar named after the database and runs the first sync right away. Then open Calendar on your iPhone, tap Calendars, and tick the new calendar under iCloud.
What happens when a task is done
Ticking a task done in Notion changes nothing in the calendar, so its event stays where it is. An event leaves the calendar only when its page goes to the Notion trash or its date is cleared. If you want finished tasks off your calendar, clear their date.
Free plan, trial and timing
The free plan is one database, synced one way from Notion to the calendar and checked every 30 minutes. A deadline you add now can take about half an hour to appear on your phone.
The paid plan is $3.99 a month, with two-way sync, every database and checks every 15 minutes or as often as every 5. Every new account gets the paid plan free for 7 days from its first sync, with no card, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. You move to the free plan.
With two-way on, dragging an event to another day on your phone moves the due date in Notion, and renaming it renames the page.
