Plan your week with Notion tasks, Apple Calendar and Claude
Claude never talks to Notion in this setup. Notion keeps the tasks, Calnio turns each dated page into an event in Apple Calendar, and Claude reads and moves those events through its Apple Calendar connection. With two-way sync on, a move Claude makes reaches the Notion page on Calnio's next check.

The three pieces
A Notion database with a Date column. A Calnio sync that writes each dated page into its own Apple Calendar, which how to see your Notion tasks in Apple Calendar on iPhone walks through. And the connection from how to connect Apple Calendar to Claude.
Claude sees the calendar, so it sees a task as an event with the page title and the date and nothing more. Calnio copies no status, priority or notes. Put what you want Claude to weigh into the title, like "Report, due Friday, 3 h".
Ask for a plan
Try: "Look at my Tasks and Personal calendars for this week and tell me which days are overloaded." Claude reads both calendars in one request. It knows only what the titles say, so it can tell you Tuesday holds five events and cannot tell you which one is urgent.
Move a task
Try: "Move Write report from Tuesday to Thursday." Claude edits the event in Apple Calendar. With two-way on for that sync, Calnio hears the change on its next check and updates the date on the Notion page. Checks run every 5 minutes by default, and slower if you picked a slower interval, so the page can lag by a few minutes.
Two-way is a switch on each sync's card on the Syncs page. It needs the paid plan or the trial, and a Notion connection that is allowed to write. If Notion was connected before two-way existed, the card says to reconnect it.
If the same date changed in Notion before the next check, the later edit wins, and Notion wins a tie.
Add a task by asking
Try: "Add Call the accountant on Monday at 10 to my Tasks calendar." With two-way on, an event made in that calendar after you switched two-way on becomes a new page in the database.
It works only when one sync uses that calendar. If two databases share one, Calnio cannot tell which one the event belongs in, so it imports nothing. Repeating events and events with guests are never imported.
Deleting is where to be careful
With two-way on, deleting an event that Calnio made sends its Notion page to the Notion trash, unless you edited the page since. So "delete my finished tasks from the calendar" said to Claude trashes pages. The trash keeps them, but it is a surprise. Have Claude list what it will delete first.
Ticking a task done in Notion changes nothing in the calendar, so Claude still sees a finished task as an event.
With two-way off
A change Claude makes stays in Apple Calendar, and Calnio never writes to Notion. If you later change that date in Notion, the event follows Notion again. Accounts made before 2 November 2026 on the free plan sync one way.
